Snow Update

As predicted, the SW of the Country has experienced heavy snowfalls. Various roads, including motorways have been closed in parts and driving conditions are dangerous.
 
The weather front is moving North towards the Midlands affecting all areas in its path. It is forecast to continue throughout the next few days at least.
 
Service to these areas will inevitably be affected. All efforts are being made to deliver to recipients wherever possible and where the conditions allow.
 
We apologise for any inconvenience caused and assure you that normal service provision will resume once the conditions improve.

What happens once I place my order?

When you complete your payment you will receive a confirmation e-mail to advise you that we are processing your order. Processing of orders can take 1-2days depending upon season, peak season it  may take longer 3-4 days.  If there is a problem with your order we will contact you.

This is a gift, will the receipent see the price?

No - any delivery note that is shipped with the goods does not include the price of the goods.

Can I cancel my order after it has been submitted?

If you wish to cancel an order that you have just placed, you must send writen cancellation to Targetwholesale by e-mail and our customer service team will arrange to cancel the order and refund any money you have paid.  If your item has already been shipped the cost of returning the item to Targetwholesale is your responsibility. Please note that the goods are your responsibility until they reach us. For your own protection, we recommend that you send the parcel using a service that insures you for the value of the goods.  See our Returns Policy below.

How do I pay for my goods?

Payment is taken at the checkout, you can pay using a credit or debit card or by Bank transfer. We accept all major credit and debit cards Via Paypal our partner.  Payments made by bank transfers the full amount must be paid before goods are dispatched, Target are not responsible for bank charges.

When is the payment taken for my order?

All credit and debit transactions are debited from your card during the shopping cart process.

Is it safe to order online through your website?

Yes. Your payment is taken through a secure Paypal.co.uk server which is fully encrypted. It is perfectly safe to enter your card details on our website.

Delivery

Can my order be delivered to a different address  to my home address?

Yes, we can deliver to a different address if required. If payments are made by PayPal, the confirmed / verified PayPal address has to match the delivery address.  This means due to PayPal's policy goods can only be delivered to the PayPal address.

Can I choose a delivery date and time?

Unfortunately, we do not offer fixed delivery times.

How much is delivery?

Standard mainland UK delivery is now £2.99 depending on how many items, we do have offers at times for Free UK mainland delivery.  For all other shipping charges contact customer services

When will my goods be delivered?

Christmas orders please see Christmas section at top.

Orders placed before 12pm, Monday to Thursday will be dispatched 1-4  working days for mainland UK addresses. All mainland UK orders once they leave Target are dispatched with Royal Mail or a courier of our choice.  Please note that although we state next working day on some orders, delays can occur during peak seasons like Christmas, Easter, Summer Festivals, adverse weather condtions, lost in post or public holidays, this unfortunatley is out of Targets control.  If your order is dispatched from Target and it is considered lost in the post by the courier we will investigate and dispatch a replacement after the courier company confirms the item has been lost.  This does not apply to returns.  Highlands and Islands can be 4 working days. Orders from the rest of the EU can be delivered within 3 - 10 working days - this excludes weekends and bank holidays, holidays or delays with customs.  Our courier service covers most areas in mainland Great Britain. If you are unsure, feel free to contact Customer Services who will be happy to help you.

What happens if I am out when my goods are delivered?

If you are out when your goods are delivered, the courier will sometime try a neighbour, follow your instructions or leave a card with instructions for re-arranging the delivery at a convenient date.

Customs/Import Duties

Any customs or import duties levied once the package reaches your destination country will be your responsibility as we have no control over these charges and cannot predict them.

What is your returns policy?

Do I have to pay to return goods?

If you are returning an item to Targetwholesale, the cost of returning the item to Targetwholesale is your responsibility. Please note that the goods are your responsibility until they reach us. For your own protection, we recommend that you send the parcel using a service that insures you for the value of the goods.  If your order included a free gift and you are returning  your goods you must return the free gift before a full refund is issued or fees will apply.  In the case of returns, you will only be refunded the value of the products ordered.  If the consumer fails to take resonable care of the goods, they do not lose their right to cancel but will be liable to offest cost of any unreasonable damage against the refund due.

If the item is faulty, please contact our customer service team who will advise you on returning the goods and putting forward a claim. 

How do I return goods?

If you wish to return goods and you are within your 7days. You may request a returns number and details by contacting our customer service team. Goods without a returns number & form may be returned to the sender.  For full information, please review our Returns Procedure and Policy.

How are refunds credited?

Refunds for returned goods will be credited to the card used to pay for the original order, PayPal, Cheque or Bank Transfer.  Target are not responsible for any charges your bank may charge you for bank transfers, this includes international banks, if  you are in doubt please contact your bank for advice.  If your order included a free gift and you are returning  your goods you must return the free gift before a full refund is issued.

How long will it take to receive my refund?

Your refund will be processed as quickly as possible around 7 days and a confirmation e-mail will be sent to confirm that the refund has been completed.

Can I return the goods in person to you?

Unfortunately, for insurance purposes we are unable to accept any orders returned in person.

I am buying the boots as a present, what happens if they need to be exchanged?

As long as the items are unworn, unused and in their Original condition and they are returned in the same condition that they were received, and are within 7days from receipt of goods, they can be exchanged. Please see our Returns Policy.

What do I do if I receive the wrong item?

If the item you receive is not what you originally ordered, please contact our customer service team within 3 days of receipt quoting your order number, your name and address, details of the product and the reason for return, and whether you require a refund or replacement. We will then advise you on how to return the goods to us.

Targetwholesale Returns Policy & Hunter Boot Warranty

Please note that returns to Targetwholesale must have been purchased directly through this website. Goods purchased through retail stores or other websites must be returned to the original store/site they were purchased from.

If for any reason you are not happy with the purchase from our website, provided you follow our Returns Procedure, we will be happy to assist you in the exchange or refund of your order. All goods must be returned to us in the original condition, in its original packaging and in an unused condition, this excludes wholesale and trade orders.

If you are returning goods for exchange and are within 7days from receipt of goods, you are responsible for returning them to Target.  You must obtain a returns number before returning your parcel, please email our customer service team who are happy to help.

If you wish to cancel your order after the goods have been delivered, or you are returning the goods for a refund, you are responsible for returning them to Target. 

If there are any discrepancies with your order, you must notify us within three days of receipt. If you have been shipped the incorrect goods then do accept our apologies. Please follow the Returns Procedure and our Customer Service team will contact you.  Do not send items without a returns number they will be declined and returned to the sender.

We send all items out in secure packaging, packaging is used to protect the goods whilst in transit to you.  Outer Packaging / Damaged boxes or Ripped Packaging is not considered faulty goods as it protects the goods whilst in transit to you.  However if goods have also been damaged please contact our customer service team for help.

Only UK residents that have purchased Hunter Wellington Boots from this website are covered by a 12 months' warranty against faulty materials and workmanship.  Hunter boots are hand crafted, using a combination of modern technology and traditional craft techniques.  Hunter use 100% natural product, tapped from rubber trees in tropical plantations. For these reasons, each Hunter wellington is unique and may show tiny imperfections in appearance. These in no way affect the performance of the boot, and indeed may be said to add to its character.

 If you have worn them more than a few times or have had a reasonable opportunity to check it, you may be entitled to a repair or replacment, only if deemed faulty, for further assistacne please contact our Customer Service Team.  Warranty claims, if you are returning the goods for a Warrenty claim, you are responsible for both the original shipping cost and the return costs.

General Help

White marks have appeared on my Hunter boots...

Occasionally, it is possible that white marks will appear on your Hunter wellington boots. This is a phenomenon called 'blooming' and is your boots attempting to protect themselves from environmental damage.

Every Hunter wellington boot is made from 100% natural ingredients and small amounts of wax are included in the rubber compound during the vulcanisation process that is used to make each pair. When exposed to certain environmental factors, this wax can "bloom" to the surface and appear as white or blue marks.

This is not a defect with the boots, and is completely natural. If this does happen, you can wipe this blooming clean with a warm, damp cloth. Also, Hunter recommend Hunter UV Tech* to maintain the ‘like new' look of your Hunter Rubber Boots and help to preserve flexibility and colour by providing essential plasticising oils lost by the degrading effects of the sun.

Do I need to order a size bigger than I take in a shoe?

No, we recommend that you purchase the same size as you take in a shoe as they do allow for wearing thicker socks.

Maintenance & Care

Hunter Wellington care: Wipe and dry naturally after use. Only use lukewarm, soapy water. Never use solvents to clean. Store in a cool, dry, dark location away from sources of ozone and never store boots whilst damp. Avoid storage near sources of artificial heat or direct sunlight. Do not store folded or creased. In hot or humid weather, white marks may appear on the boots. This is not a defect but a release of protective wax that can be wiped clean with a damp cloth. For boots with zippers, zipper teeth should be kept clean and free of dirt.
